TUCKERTON – December gives families many ways to experience togetherness. Bring the family for heartwarming tales in storyteller Anjel Wilson’s “Celebrating December Days,” 3:30 PM Thursday, December 22, at the Ocean County Library Tuckerton Branch.

A second-generation storyteller, Anjel focuses her tales on the nurturing value of shared family experiences. Whether the celebration is Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or the Winter Solstice, Anjel spins narratives for listeners of all generations to enjoy.

Raised in an artistic environment, Anjel and her brother Romare frequented their mother’s storytelling events and their father’s art exhibits. Today, Romare is an abstract artist, and Anjel is a weaver of tales, with a degree in Social Work from Stockton University.
