Ex-IRS Special Agent to Discuss Book at LBI Library

LONG BEACH ISLAND – The Ocean County Library will host author Mel Gudknecht 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Long Beach Island Branch.

Gundknecht will discuss his book “Working the Edge”, an autobiography about his time working for the Organized Crime Strike Force.

Mel Gundknecht was a Special Agent for the Intelligence Division of the IRS and was the recipient of Special Achievement Awards and Commendations for outstanding performance.

Find out what it was like to work cases involving the Mafia and corrupt unions from someone who was there.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Island Library.

The branch is located at 217 S. Central Ave, Surf City.
