TOMS RIVER - The Friends of the Ocean County Library Toms River are sponsoring a bus trip to the New York City on Thursday, Sept 14.

The day will begin with a shopping trip to “Little Italy in the Bronx” followed by the New York Botanical Gardens. A guided tour of the Chihuly Exhibit will be provided, where the brilliantly colored glass sculptures of artist Dale Chihuly will be shown for the first time in a decade.

Attendees will meet at 8:15 a.m.at the Chase Bank in the Toms River Kohl’s Plaza on Route 37 and Highland Parkway. The estimated return time is 5:30 p.m.

The cost of this trip is $95 per person, the deadline for reservations is Aug 15.
