Learn Emergency Readiness At Ocean County Library Manchester Branch

MANCHESTER - Begin 2022 positively, by knowing how to handle emergencies and natural disasters, during a free workshop Tuesday, January 25 at the Ocean County Library Manchester Branch. 

Mike Prifold of the Ocean County Health Department will discuss best practices for immediate response to unexpected situations. He will also offer information about COVID vaccination and testing sites. 

Registered attendees will receive a Create Your Family Emergency Communication Plan and Emergency Financial First Aid Kit from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Emergency Contact Card from the American Red Cross, Health Information Wallet Card from the Manchester Senior Advisory Council, and smart wallet card holder. 

Attendees will learn how to connect with the Township and how to receive localized Nixel alerts. Manchester Township Senior Outreach will offer details about Operation Icebox, which provides quick-access vital information for first responders.
