Little Egg Harbor – The Ocean County Library System continues to make progress on the Little Egg Harbor Branch’s electrical repairs. These repairs are a result of a power surge from a transformer located on the perimeter of Mathistown Road. The surge occurred around 11:00 pm on October 14, after the branch had closed for the evening.

“We are looking forward to welcoming back our Little Egg Harbor patrons and staff,” said Susan Quinn, Ocean County Library Director. “Our maintenance team and technicians have been working hard to open our most southern Branch. Thank you for all your patience during the repairs.”

The Little Egg Harbor Branch is scheduled to reopen on January 20, 2020.
