Senior Financial Seminar To Be Held At Toms River Library

September 08, 2017

TOMS RIVER – Financial expert Bill Bresnan will lead a financial seminar geared toward older adults at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington St.

Topics of discussion will include real estate, tax planning, mutual funds, and asset allocation. Bresnan has authored several books on finances and hosted “The Bill Bresnan Show” on WABC radio’s first financial call-in program, beginning in 1982.

Bresnan started his Wall Street career at E. F. Hutton and Company. “I functioned in every capacity from "runner" to the director of corporate finance and investment banking for a New York Stock Exchange member firm,” Bresnan said.

While on the graduate faculty at New York University he became the first professor to conduct classes in management on commuter railroads.

Bresnan recently took his 5,450th live call in a radio show and has hosted over 450 live public seminars and created “The Bill Bresnan Financial Seminar at Sea Program” taking followers on exotic cruises where he lectures to them about the world of finance.

This program is open to everyone but registration is required. To register, call 732-349-6200 or visit theoceancountylibrary.org.
