Toms River Library Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With Tito Puente Jr.

TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington St. will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a live musical performance by Tito Puente Jr. and his orchestra at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21.

Puente, the son of Latin jazz/mambo legend Tito Puente, has become an audience favorite in art centers, symphony halls, and jazz festivals worldwide.

This program is sponsored in part with funding from an OceanFirst Foundation Arts and Cultural Grant and the Ocean County Library Foundation.

Parking is free after 5 p.m. in the top two levels of the Toms River parking garage located behind the library and in the Ocean County parking garage on Hooper Avenue.
