LONG BEACH ISLAND – The Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “Friends Big Two-Day Book Sale” at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 31, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jun. 1.

Get ready for summer with sizzling deals on great reads. Find bargains on a wide variety of paperbacks and hardcovers.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Friends of the Island Library. The Friends help enhance library facilities and provide services and programs. Anyone may join the Friends of the Island Library at any time.

The book sale will be held in the branch’s Meeting Room.

The branch is located at 217 S. Central Ave., Surf City.
