SURF CITY - The Italian Cultural Society of Long Beach Island will sponsor “Our Italian Journey”, a presentation by authors John and Nancy Petralia, former island residents, at the Ocean County Library Long Beach Island Branch, 2 PM Tuesday, November 28.

They will discuss how Italian lessons at the Long Beach Island Foundation led to travel on three continents and the publication of three books: Not in a Tuscan Villa, Looking for Garibaldi, and Without Provenance: The Making of an “Authentic” Caravaggio.

Their books are love letters to Italy’s history, art and culture. Join us for this tribute to the nation that has captured their hearts and inspired their creativity.
