TOMS RIVER – Join celebrated chef, restauranteur and Emmy-winning television personality Lidia Mattichio Bastianich for an intimate chat about her memoir, My American Dream: A Life of Love, Family and Food, in the Ocean County Library’s Virtual Author Talk series, 7 PM Thursday, September 7.

My American Dream, available at the Ocean County Library, is Lidia’s inspiring tale of her early years with her family, from origins in Pula on the Istrian peninsula to America, her passion for food, and her rise to international success as a chef and businessperson.

A special bonus will be a preview of Lidia's From Our Family Table to Yours: More Than 100 Recipes Made With Love For All Occasions. One of her most personal compilations, it contains simple savory recipes and stories that have been handed down through generations in her family.
