STAFFORD TOWNSHIP – The Ocean County Library Stafford Branch is pleased to begin hosting meetings of the Manahawkin Huntington’s Support Group. The next meeting will begin at 6:30 PM Wednesday, November 15, and will continue on the third Wednesday of every month.

Anyone who copes with Huntington’s Disease, caregivers, family members, friends, and people who wish to know more are welcome to join. Leaders Bob Sylvia and Christine Sylvia note that it is the only volunteer-led support group of its kind in New Jersey.

Originally a means of exchanging information, it has evolved into a regularly-scheduled meeting of friends from unique backgrounds, discussing a wide range of topics over light refreshments. The group maintains a presence on Facebook.
