TUCKERTON – Enjoy an afternoon of songs, provided by local rising musical talents. Students of the Sharon Hood Music Studio in Little Egg Harbor will perform in a free recital, 1 PM Saturday, September 17, at the Ocean County Library Tuckerton Branch.

Ten students, age 10 to 17, will demonstrate their talents and abilities on songs including “Beauty and The Beast,” “This Land Is Your Land,” “Hedwig’s Song,” “Hey There Delilah,” “Werewolves of London,” “Puff, the Magic Dragon,” and the “Imperial March” from the motion picture Star Wars.

The performers, listed alphabetically, will be: Abby Arias, Sophia DiFrancia, Bartie DiFrancia, Taylor Frazer, Francesca Lucas, Danika Mahr, Anthony Rybar, Timmy Schultz, Logan Valenti, and Caelyn Zielinski.

Sharon Hood is a certified teacher of piano, guitar, bass guitar, organ, accordion, voice, and music theory.

“I have been teaching in the Little Egg Harbor area for more than 30 years,” she said. “I feel blessed to be doing something I love. And did I mention that I have some of the best students in the world?”
