Winter Seed Sowing with a Master Gardener at the Jackson Library

JACKSON – Thinking about your garden on these cold winter days? Visit the Jackson Branch of the Ocean County Library at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 28 for “Winter Seed Sowing with a Master Gardener.”

Learn how to start sowing seeds in January with the help of a Master Gardener and get a head start on growing flowers and vegetables for spring and summer.

The Master Gardeners utilize research-based information to educate the public on best practices in consumer horticulture and environmental stewardship. Master Gardeners are willing and able to educate individuals and groups in gardening topics such as plant selection, composting, soil improvement, pest control, vegetable and flower gardening, pruning, and more.
